Service Connections

Water

Each apartment has separate water meters and will be individually charged. Your water usage will be calculated and charged to you by City of Gold Coast. They will bill you directly with the details provided to them at settlement. You do not need to arrange connection or contact anyone to establish an account. As a general note it is common for the first bill to be sent several months following settlement.

Internet

All apartments are equipped with access to Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) Superfast Broadband internet connection. This means you will enjoy an exceptional building-wide wired and wireless internet experience through the Supa Networks network. Supa Networks internet service providers offer service level speeds of up to 500 Mbps (and greater), with a simple activation process and a one-time new dwelling activation fee (which is a legally payable fee). Additionally, you can expect competitive monthly fees and reliable customer service.

Prior to settlement, Supa Networks support staff will reach out to arrange free configuration and installation of the router, ensuring you are seamlessly connected from day one.

For more information and to get started with your internet activation, please refer to the Resident's Guide & Welcome on Board. Residents Guide & Welcome on Board.

Electricity

White has an embedded electricity network managed by Energy Trade, which means that your building purchases its electricity in bulk. This arrangement reduces network charges by aggregating all electrical meters through one metering point that is directly connected to the main electricity network, thus providing a competitive energy rate to all residents.

Please refer to the following document for instructions on arranging your electricity connection, GET Connected.

You will retain your own individual meter, which is read monthly, recorded and issued to you directly.

Please note that under an embedded electricity network, you are required to sign up with Energy Trade rather than another provider, however, the supply rates are lower than what you would obtain under a retail arrangement.

Mail

Mail letterboxes are conveniently located on the ground floor, accessible through the lobby with key access. Keys for the mail letterboxes will be provided to you at the time of handover. Your letterbox will be designated with your apartment number, making it easy for you to receive and collect your mail.

Free to Air TV & Foxtel

Each residence is equipped with free-to air television access.

White has also been registered with Foxtel. All you need to do is call Foxtel on 1300 785 622 and provide them you address details.

Discover the guidelines that shape your community living with our comprehensive By-Laws. These rules cover essential aspects such as property use, noise restrictions, pet policies, parking rules, and more.

Creating a Neighbourly Environment

All residents must contribute to a culture of supportive, respectful, and conscientious living alongside their neighbours. Whether you have prior experience with apartment living or it's your first time, adjusting to communal residency can require some adaptation. To help you navigate this transition, we have compiled some valuable tips on mindful living that will contribute to a harmonious community for everyone.

  • Noise Consideration: Recognize that bass vibrations can carry above and below your apartment. Please keep the volume of music, television, and social gatherings at a reasonable level at all times, especially after 10:00 PM. By being mindful of noise levels, you demonstrate respect for your neighbours' peace and quiet. Additionally, consider using felt pads under furniture that is regularly moved or placing rugs on hard flooring to minimize noise transfer.

  • Addressing Concerns with Neighbours: If you encounter any concerns with your neighbours, we encourage you to engage in respectful discussions directly with them in the first instance. Often, open communication can lead to swift resolutions and better understanding between neighbours. If a situation arises where you feel unsafe raising your concern, or if it relates to an issue that you cannot address in person (for instance, a loud party continuing late into the evening), you are best to call the police to assist. If you would like further assistance after the event or to lodge an incident report, please contact your Building Manager or the Strata Manager, who can assist further with the next steps.
